I got this because my ankles have been hurting recently, and I thought this might help relieve some of the pain. The heating pad comes in its own box, and you get the instructions and charging cables as well. As for the heating pad, the outside is made of durable fabric, not too soft or too coarse, while the interior does have softer fabric since it is closer to your skin. You can use it on both ankles, and you adjust the size by placing the strap and velcro that best suits your needs. It comes with heat and vibration options. Heat has 6 different settings, start off with LO as no heat, 40, 45, 50, 55, and 60, all in Celcious, so 104 - 140F. And it does get pretty hot. The vibrations you get 4, Lo for no vibration, 1 for a pulse every 3-4 seconds, 2 for a longer pulse every 2-3 seconds, and 3 for an even longer pulse and very little break. Overall...I like the heating aspect of it. It does get really warm and makes my ankle feel less stiff. However, I am not a fan of the vibrations, it doesn't hit where it needs to hit, so it's more frustrating than functional for me. I do like that I can use it on both ankles, so I think I will continue to do that but just use the heating pad option. A solid 3 out of 5 for me.
